Elevator Safety and Intelligence: Door Protection Device Based on Infrared Structured Light and Smart Docking System

This project focuses on improving two important components of elevators: the door system and the electrical control system. Structured light technology is used to obtain better detection of the performance of small and transparent objects, effectively reducing shear accidents. In the project, based on the human flow recognition of the Internet of Things and image processing, an intelligent docking and scheduling system is designed, which can ignore the call request when the car is full and adjust the scheduling scheme according to the passenger flow, thus improving the transportation efficiency in high passenger flow. FOC was also used to drive the motor in order to improve the sensitivity of the elevator door and adapt to frequent reversals in the scheduling scheme.
