Thermography-based driver assistance system

We have developed a software and device that can reliably detect and alert drivers of potential hazards, such as animals or people on the road or roadside, beyond braking distance, even under poor visibility conditions. We have achieved this through an external device equipped with a thermal camera, which operates at high speed. This information is then transmitted and processed on the driver’s mobile device or on other devices through a wireless connection. As the next step, the data is sent to the driver in form of various notifications such as sound, visual, or even augmented reality. The detection gets shared with as many drivers as possible via popular route planner api-s.
