IT is probably the fastest growing sector in the world. With new technologies being continuously developed, it seems we’ll just keep going forward. There is an issue, however. Since the birth of the internet we have been building up high on the foundations of IT, operating systems. They have become less talked about, and fewer and fewer people are actually maintaining the most important pieces of software that exist. If we won’t be able to reverse this trend, one day we’ll find ourselves outstripping the capacity of our existing operating systems, halting our technological progress. That is why this project exists. Its aim is to create a new modern flexible and stable operating system adequate for future technologies, and also to foster a community that will continue to develop it.
