Justice institutions stipulated in French and Polish criminal procedure codes, and fair trial standards included in international law standards and convict rehabilitation processes

The thesis focuses on the fundamental issues of all justice systems in the world. During lectures on criminal law, you can find out how advanced the system of detailed sentencing is and how to treat the perpetrator based on the crime committed. Restorative justice offers an opportunity not only to take into account the victim’s opinion, and rehabilitation of the convict but also can speed things up, without violating international standards. Examining how these institutions work together in terms of convict rehabilitation and social expectations is thus crucial in administering justice. In addition, solutions proposed to amend the applicable law are not impossible to implement. The study clearly shows penal populism is not beneficial to any party, especially to the victim’s party.
