Finding The Final Location and Instantaneous Speed Based On Zero Reference Without Using GPS Data: Sound Wave Navigation

There are methods such as GPS, INS, and RRNS available to determine our position on Earth. INS is used for vehicles that cannot receive data from satellites. Our goal in this study is to develop a new method to provide an alternative to INS, which is quite costly. The speed of sound waves depends on the field they are in. Instantaneous speed and distance measurements are made for the x, y, and z axes using this property of waves. A gimbal system has been constructed to keep the axes stationary. The final position obtained can be accessed through our designed application, along with instantaneous speed information for x, y, and z axes. The system has been tested for both stationary and moving states. The same test has been conducted with the MPU6050, and comparisons have been made.
