The Voronoi diagram arises if a group of bodies expand from a point of origin and compete for space on an equal footing. This is the case of cells in the epithelium. These have the shape of a scutoid, a recently described geometric solid. Using a free CAD design program and additive manufacturing, scutoids can be generated, applying the Voronoi diagram. Especially in puzzle form. After experimenting in the process, maintaining intrinsic to the Voronói diagram, the defining elements of different classical geometric solids are revealed.
