Nowadays, we see a lot of tendencies in the world: climate changes, widespread use of synthetic fertilizers which causes a decrease in soil fertility. We need more food, cultivated even in unfavorable conditions. Our solution to increase crop yields is NANOFERTILIZER which is based on nanoparticles and a plant hormone. Nanomaterials can easily cross biological membranes and stimulate many processes in leaves and roots. Due to their distinctive features such as small dimensions and high surface area to volume ratio, they can be great carriers of substances. We are using hydroxyapatite NPs and iron oxide NPs as carriers, and gibberellins as plant hormones. We proved that all compounds boost growth of plants. The goal is to create an optimal composition of biodegradable nanofertilizer.
